Hats Mission
Jesus calls us to clothe our neighbors. Each year, a dedicated group of women make hats for more than 200 children in a nearby school. The students look forward to their new hats and gloves all year long.
Easter Egg Hunt
Teaching others about Jesus is our first priority. Each year, the members of Peace hold an Easter Egg Hunt for local children. The kids might come to collect candy, but we use it as an opportunity to tell them the story of Jesus's Resurrection.
Pennies for Patients
Sometimes small things can make a huge difference. That's why Peace supports the Berrien County Cancer Service's annual Pennies for Patients drive. From wigs to nurse consultations, BCCS offers numerous free services for cancer patients.
The Soup Kitchen
Feeding the hungry is also part of our mission. Six times per year volunteers from Peace prepare and serve more than 100 meals for clients at The Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen.
Adopt-a-Family
Christmas can be a hard time of year for many in our community. At Peace, we partner with the Salvation Army's Adopt-a-Family program to help make Christmas a little brighter for local families.
Trunk or Treat
In 2019, Peace held its inaugural Trunk or Treat event. We were blown away when more than 200 children came to our church looking for a safe place to Trick or Treat. Unfortunately we had to cancel our 2020 event due to COVID-19, but 2021 was a success and we look forward to another great turnout in 2022!
